City of dreams and what
not..Yes, enough said of this city! Where there is no time to stop
and care about what's happening around. Where queens necklace is nothing but a
lit up street around the Arabian Sea! Where people find milk rates high and
treat their dogs with leftover pizzas. Where Bandra is known for being cool,
but surrounded by nothing
but slums. This is a place where Vada Pav is a favorite meal of
the poor and rich. A place where SRK, SALLU BHAI and Big B live. Is
that not a good enough wanna being cheap journo
kinda intro in Mumbai?

WHAT DRIVES MUMBAIKARS?
- I love my Mumbaikars!
They write Mumbai as their city when they have to fill up random forms and
still have a fondness to call it out as Bombay!

Somewhere down the line we Mumbaikars tend to be a little gunda when

Mumbai is located
in the west coast of India. Mumbai is also known as the wealthiest city in
India (I am an exception here!). Mumbai has its own moods when it comes to
weathers! It's mostly summer for us here! Winter is nothing but just a rumor..
Also yes we have our fair share of rainfalls nothing much to go gu gu ga ga
over! You want to know about roadways? Then I want you to know we are still in
steady progress, we will get there..
PS: God Knows When?!
PPS: Mumbai has a
beautiful skyline they say. Yes we do have super tall buildings but they are surrounded
by slums..Don't be too sad both the ones living in huts and 3BHK homes use the
same CABLE TV connections and 30+ inches TV screens!
Life is nothing but dramatic here.. Do you remember the cliché
movie scenes where the man/woman is standing in between the road among the
fast pace moving crown around him! Yes, that is indeed true! It's sad that in a
crowded city something you still find yourself lost and lonely. But!!! You must
always take a moment and look at the brighter side? For example: HAJI ALI! In between
the rough sea and cutting waves it still manages to look pretty and god damn
breath taking.. I have a million selfies by the sea face by the way..ok shhh..
I am drifting away from the topic.
CONNECT.
And what connects us in the end.. is nobody than us Mumbaikars
spirit after all! We are one and united in this.. We stand up together when we
fall.. You know soon after the terror attacks in Mumbai we still managed to go
to our work place and watch the news while working instead? Them mean bosses! Arrg... But seriously kuch
bhi ho, this is how we roll. I love my City-Mumbai.. Because we are definitely are #madeofgreat.
