Recently I was invited by the food bloggers association team for an amazing monsoon getaway to the beautiful Deltin at the heart of Daman. And what an awesome experience it was!!
The Deltin, India’s largest integrated casino resort. This sprawling, luxurious, 176-suite hotel is the perfect getaway for gamers and vacationers alike, ideal for a weekend getaway or even for an extended stay. Indeed, this is India’s largest – and only – integrated casino resort between Mumbai and Delhi.
It is the first ever casino in this part of the country is spread over 60,000 square feet, with 1,000 gaming positions, including 250 slot machines and all international games such as Roulette, Poker, Blackjack, Baccarat and many more, which is yet awaiting its inaugural.Add to this, four gourmet restaurants, three bars, high-end retail stores, all-natural spa treatments, and a unique poolside bar with live music, and you have the ultimate destination for both large and small groups.
We checked in at about 2 in the afternoon and it was our home for the weekend. Unfortunately there was no rain to our Monsoon getaway, however the weather was beautiful and perfect to relax!!
My room was massive I would say two trucks could park in easily :P(no kidding). Lovey artistic paintings decorated the fancy walls.The best part "there was a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, Oh yesss"!! a lovely room with the view of the blue waters helped break away from the daily urban stress.
The food, Oh the food was D-E-licious...!!! And so I will let the pictures do all the talking..

We also had a one on one with the man with hands of magic CHEF LOVE, he taught us how to make smacking SUSHI'S!! it was so much fun filling in the YAKI NORI.
We also tasted some very interesting infused whiskies with various flavors which are made in Deltin itself, they were pretty GOOD!!
We enjoyed some amazing drink that evening and called it a night.. a very wonderful night!!
The next day we left to explore Daman after a wholesome breakfast like every other hotel, the breakfast here also served an array of yummy foods to choose from BUT even more yummier!
After gathering some tax free alcohol from Daman local wine shops, it was time to say goodbye to the amazing Deltin property (extremely hard task). I was indeed very lucky to be a part of this getaway and I look forward to many more getaways and meeting the same lovely people again!!
