I was so excited when I was invited to
be a part of the FAIR AND LOVELY BB cream launch. I am all in when I hear an
all girls meet! It is always a pleasure to meet girls who share the same
interests which is Beauty and that's not
the only reason I wanted to be a part of this event.
Every since I have stepped into
my teens my friends introduced to to my first skin care product i.e. the
Fair and Lovely cream. However, I used this product solely because of its
awesome moisturizing properties. Also, it was
very affordable and did not hurt my piggy bank much. And when I was called for
this event, I hear
Fair and Lovely---Oh! Yes, please count
me in! Oh please! Did I need any more reason
to be a part of this lovely event? NOT!
BB creams are now one of the most-''MUST HAVE'' product in your beauty trunk. There are many BB creams in the market so why choose Fair and Lovely BB cream was exactly my question too? And soon as the event began it all began to unfold why this is the best BB cream and why one must own this product. I will list the product details in a while. Let me take you through the event and give you a peak into the fun filled afternoon.
We all gathered at the event which happened at the Novotel Hotel at Juhu on 17th May. It was a pleasant Sunday morning when we all kicked in with a cup of hot coffee to wake us up and get ready for the fun filled day ahead. We were made to pick chits and asked to keep them handy for some lovely activities which would happen in the day. I did meet a few known faces and we gossiped our time to the beginning of the Schedule.
Our lovely lady Freishia was the MC for
the day that passed our time and did make it a memorable too. She was beginning the
afternoon with a Glass of Sangria, a sweet cocktail with finely chopped fruits
and wine. Oh! What a good start. Later we were asked to open our coats and
see what's in
it. I had a picture of an animated Chanel no. 5 perfume. Someone in the room
would have the chit too, and so
we were made to sit in pairs and get to know any 3 wacky facts of the opposite
person. My partner had been the
already so Fair and Lovely Jhilmil Saha. She did disclose some bizarre facts
about here, which were
freaky and awesome at the same time. She also shared some great trick to use
Milk as a cleanser after returning home after a long day outside. Later each
pair came up front and shared the facts to all ladies. It was quite fun to hear
some. Later we broke into some more games and fun activity where we were asked
to form groups and prepare a dance routine. Yes, quite crazy! There was
a fun photo booth where we got our
instant pictures taken with some fun props lying around. We also had very cute
photo taken with all the pretty bloggers together.
I met and got to know many pretty ladies
that day. Apart from all the fun filled activities and amazing prizes we were
in for a surprise at the end of the afternoon for which I was dying to know. We
all enjoyed the yummy lunch, which rightly
served at the time we needed some charge for more fun activities ahead of us.
After lunch we split into groups and
played against each other to win group prizes. We played Games such as Name-
place- animal- thing, but with
a twist it had to be Shod, Bags, Perfume and other bags like what's in
your bags etc. We did win one and also were a really competitive team. We won
almost all the game and bagged all the prizes. OK! No.. That was a lie.
However, all team co-incidentally one at least once and got a lovely box
of chocolates. My most Favorite game was the passing the Tiara, where Freishia
read a rhyme where the lucky ones got to wear it and pass it to another. It was quiet fun.
Oh! After a
long day of fun, gossip and games. It was time for the Big surprise. They
Hosted a pageant for us! YAY! I was so excited. Through the day they were
speculating us and they gave us all a title each. I was titled Miss Best Hair.
Oh! What a
proud moment it was. I would like to thank My Mother.. Ok,
I need to stop... But let me tell you, it was a crazy date with the lovely ladies from the Fair and Lovely team.
I loved how they took care of us through the day and mad it fun event.
Coming back to the product. Yes, why
must you try this? I know there a tonne of
BB creams in the market already but the first point to get you sold over this
product is its pricing. Fairly affordable to one and all who need a cheap
beautiful makeup like finish. It has a matte and feels non oily unlike the many BB
creams in the market. It also has SPF 15 PA++ which is definitely a YAY! And lastly
suits most skin tones
for our Indian skin and gives an instant fair look.

Feels fairly light on the skin and I would definitely recommend this product to use at least once and judge it yourself. However, this is not the product for dusky skin tones as it would make it look like fake and not believable at all. It does get a little dry on the skin so make sure to exfoliate well and have some moisturizer on before applying. I love the effects it has on my wheatish skin and it is my favorite BB cream for now.
